Founded in 1930, Västra Frölunda IF has a long and respected history and plays an important role in the local community through its youth programmes, para football initiatives, and commitment to creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds.
As proud main sponsors, Rymd has partnered with the club to support its strategic communication and refresh its visual identity.
With careful consideration of the club’s visual heritage, we refined the expression of the emblem to improve legibility and accessibility across digital applications. We also developed flexible graphics based on the distinctive lines of the emblem, designed to strengthen communication across all touchpoints while creating a more contemporary expression.
In addition, we produced a series of social media films and photography featuring players and coaches, helping to strengthen the club’s engagement. We also developed sponsor presentations and communication materials designed to support relationships with prospective partners.

The updated emblem maintains a strong connection to the club’s history while improving legibility and accessibility across digital platforms, creating a clearer and more consistent visual expression. Accessibility was a key consideration throughout the process, helping ensure the identity remains relevant and inclusive for future generations of players and supporters.
